In this area we will be showing off customer cars that have been to our facilities for services of some sort performed by us here at Alternative Auto. This section consists of previous customer cars as well as current ones. We will pick a cool car every few weeks and spotlight it here! So check back often to see a new customer car!

We work with and service many vehicles every week. These are just a few that have earned a place in the spotlight. We will make sure we change this up regularly.

KENNY’S COBRA

With the ultra cool 5.3L BigBore-Stroker derived from the BOSS 5.0L iron block, ported heads, and big cams… combined with the pressurization of a 2.3L Whipple! Well let’s just say that the numbers at the rear wheels are very, very “up there” on race fuel!!

1BAADSS

Named well, this car has both the show and the go! All your going to see as this blurs by you, is its fitting and catchy license plate!

ROBERT’S RIDE

This super clean Alloy Gray 2007 GT is equipped with some impressive bolt-ons, and is a regular here at Alternative Auto.

MARIANO’S MONSTER

This aggressive looking Magnuson charged Camaro moves like a monster!

MAXON’S MUSTANG

With over 600 RWHP on tap, this customers 3-valve GT is a great example of the potential of a well done 3-valve combined with a 15psi 2.3L Whipple Twin-Screw supercharger.

SAM’S SS

With over 460rwhp on its own, and over 550rwhp with the flip of a switch…. She can easily go low 11’s in the 1/4 mile at well over 130mph.

BLISTERING BULLITT

Packed full of bolt-ons… This 2008 Bullitt is no slug. Sporting 330+ RWHP naturally aspirated and bigger rear gears. This beautiful limited edition green Bullitt is always on target.

VIOLENT VAPOR

This featured Vapor Grey GT-500 is now equipped with a upgraded short block with heavy duty forged connecting rods and custom Diamond pistons with a compression bump from 8.5:1 to 9.25:1. Also, the stock cams have been replaced with a rather mild, but effective Crower cam set that has a notable rump at an idle and substantial power gains over 3000rpms. With only 17psi of boost, this Shelby produces over 730 rwhp on 93 octane.

E85 FUELED GTS

As of late summer 2012, this GT no longer burns leaded 110 octane races fuels. It’s been updated and fully set up to now consume E85 fuels. When the e85 upgrade was made, only enough tuning to get the E85 to burn correctly in this combo was performed initially. Ignition timing had been left where it was for 110 leaded race fuels. By simply pouring E85 into it… this big Windsor went from 620rwhp all the way to 690 RWHP!

PHYSICIANS FOX BODY

Fox body’s never seem to get old or outdated with millions of options for both cosmetic and driveline upgrades. There are so many possibilities available for this beloved Mustang era….The endless choices of upgrades make each fox body Mustang unique.

This featured Fox body GT is a great example of the staying power of its mostly original good looks, with just a few exterior upgrades to bring it up to speed.

WE DON’T NEED NO STINKING 32 VALVES!!!

With the advent of big inter-cooled twin-screw blowers these days, and the availability of the TFS 2-valve cylinder heads; it is now possible to make some very serious power without the hassle of a 32v head conversion, on non Cobra & Mach-1 platforms.

This customer’s car is a shinning example of what can now be achieved with a slightly high-end 2-valve mod motor running about 14psi of boost and e85 fuels.

GOLDEN SPANKING

Is what you’ll get if you upset this 2012 5.0 Mustang GT.

With only 11psi of boost, headers, and an e85 tune. This soft-top is now equipped with nearly 700-RWHP.

Not much more to say… it looks good! Runs awesome, and all of its performance is a simple list of add-ons to an otherwise stock 5.0L long block!

MACH-1 MAKE OVER

Alternative Auto is not known for tampering with the older classic Mustangs from the 1960’s and early 70’s, but we actually will perform some modern power-train updates like we’ve done to this immaculate 1970 Mach-1.

MEAN GREEN SALEEN

Chalk it up to another one that has succumbed to the high octane and cheap temptation that comes with e85 fuels.

CLEAN COBRA

This is yet another Mustang that has given in to the temptation of clean, renewable and cheap high octane fuel otherwise known as e85.

BOOSTED BOSS

With nearly 800 RWHP, we believe this one can rightfully be named “the BOSS”.

10’S FOR 10K

This customer car is being shown off to exemplify how easily you can now go 10’s in the 1/4 for about 10k in bolt-ons on the new 5.0L cars.

CORN FED COBRA

Alternative auto has assembled and tuned yet another customer car willing to take full advantage of today’s affordable and high octane e85 fuels.
