Magnacharger Supercharger Kit For The '05 And Up 3-valve Mustangs

In our continuing efforts to offer quality and performance power adders for the 4.6L 3-valve Mustangs, Alternative Auto has added another supercharger to the line up.

We’re now offering the Magnacharger supercharger kit for the ’05 and up 3-valve Mustangs.

Magnacharger kits from Alternative auto will come intercooled and pulley’d to make 7psi or 9psi of boost. The Magnacharger blower kit is based around the ultra reliable Eaton M-112 supercharger which is OEM equipment on many vehicles including the ‘03-‘04 Cobras and the ’99-’04 Lightning’s.  

The 3-valve Mustang Magnacharger intercooled kit includes all the necessary fuel injectors and many other pieces to make for a very organized, clean and functional install.

The Magnacharger installs at Alternative Auto will include our own in house custom SCT tune for both automatic and manual transmissions. And also include a complete dyno session as well with each install.

As can be seen in the dyno graph, the 9psi Magnacharger makes 400 RWHP and just over 400 lbs of TQ on an automatic trans equipped Mustang.
The graph shown is an automatic Mustang with the torque converter locked and set up to not down shift once it gets into 4th gear (1to1 ratio) for dynoing intensions only.

A stock automatic trans equipped ’05 and up Mustang typically makes about 260ish RWHP…. Meaning that the 9psi Magnacharger is adding about 140 RWHP along with a mound of low and mid range TQ to go with it.

Both stick and automatic equipped 3-valve Stangs will find that with the Magnacharger’s added punch from off idle to 6500 rpm wont need to do much more in terms of other bolt-ons. Looser torque converter and bigger rear gears can be left on the shelf with positive displacement and twin screw type blowers.

We will be installing the intercooled 7psi Magnacharger kit for $5595.00 and the 9psi kit for $6095.00. The 9psi kit requires a pulley change and a Boosta-Pump voltage enhancer to increase the stock in-tank fuel pump capacity…. Thus raising the price for the 9 psi kit approximately $500.00.
